WHAT A WEEK!

An incredible week for the Smith stable, with Mister McGoldrick winning the Racing Post Chase at Cheltenham, by 13 lengths, under jockey Dominic Elsworth at the huge price of 66/1. The 11 year old gelding winning £57,000 for his owner, this Wetherby specialist provided Sue and Harvey Smith with their first ever Festival winner.

48 hours later and another big winner, this time with Himalayan Trail romping away with the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter, by 22 lengths, under jockey Tjade Collier at 16/1 and another £57,000 in prize money won.

 

THE JOCKEYS

Top jockeys A.P. McCoy, R. Johnson, G. Lee and A. Dobbin have all ridden for the syndicate, however the syndicate also believes in helping the stars of the future. We have had many winners using conditional jockeys. This season we will be using Andrew Adams and Gary Rutherford, who are both attached to the Sue Smith stable, along with professional jockey Christian Williams.
