THE TRAINER

Our horses are trained by Staffordshire trainer, Reg Hollinshead and assistant trainers, son Andrew and daughter Sarah. Reg is famous for training jockeys as well as horses, having taught Paul Eddery, Willie Ryan, Nicky Carlisle, Tony Cullane, Kevin Darley and Walter Swinburn. Swinburn and Ryan later went on to win The Derby.

The stable has trained over 1500 winners and had a Derby third and 2000 Guineas second with Remainder Man, which went on to win the Ormond Stakes at Chester. Hurdle successes include Bluff Cove which won the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot.

 

THE JOCKEYS

Top jockeys A.P. McCoy, R. Johnson and G. Lee have all ridden for the syndicate, however the syndicate also believes in helping the stars of the future. We have had many winners using conditional jockeys. This season we will be using James Halliday (7).
